Could you be our new Town Clerk?

Chipping Norton Town Council has a vacancy for a Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. The Council seeks an aspiring and proactive manager to lead the Council into the future. The successful candidate will need to be able to provide leadership and build a wide range of positive relationships with Councillors, staff and partner organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors, that candidate may be an experienced Clerk or Deputy Clerk with knowledge, experience and status as a qualified Clerk. Or, may have a successful background in Local Government or the private/voluntary sectors and be prepared to qualify within twelve months as a Town Clerk. This is a full time post (37 hours a week); salary £36,922 – £39,880 depending upon experience and qualifications. Closing date for applications is 26 October 2020 and interviews will be held on 4 November 2020.
